At a time when I was overwhelmed, isolated, and financially strapped, I didn’t trust anyone with this. Writing it here is the first time the story hasn’t felt like a sales call. If you’re new: you can use a nickname. I did, for a month.

I’d wake up in the middle of the night and search every question. Nothing held still until I worked the roadmap in order — bearings, then documents, then the lawyer. The vacuum-cleaner fight was really about who was starting from zero. Naming that helped.
